Concorde Auction at Stoneleigh Park
BA announced today (20/2/04) that one of the world's most prestigious and long-awaited auction sales will proceed at Stoneleigh Park near Coventry.
It will take place on April 12-17 2004 in a 3000 seat hall, with cinema sized AV and full stage and set. The auction will be conducted by Dovebid the global auctioneers, it will take five days and will be webcast on the net to tens of thousands of online buyers all around the world.
The latest webcast technology will enable bidders to win lots from their offices or homes without making the journey to the UK.
Concorde spares and artefacts including the nose cone will go under the hammer, and a huge audience is expected to attend the live event over the week
