Crewe Hall, Crewe

Crewe Hall, a stately Jacobean home, acquired by Marston Hotels in 2003, has been extended to bring a mix of the historic to the modern. Crewe Hall now boasts a total of 65 guest rooms with 26 Superior rooms within the original Jacobean Hall itself these individually furnished and designed rooms include Four-poster rooms, suites and the sumptuous Royal Suite where King George V and Queen Mary stayed in 1913.

A further 39 classically modern rooms have recently opened, situated in a brand new building known as the West Wing, connected to the original Hall with a glass link. These are large by 4 star standards with air conditioning and most have lovely views of the gardens.

Other features of Crewe Hall include one of the best staircases in England and its own chapel with stained glass windows.

Try the fine dining Ranulph restaurant within the historic Hall, where the finest ingredients available are coupled with a fresh and innovative style, to produce dishes of unrivalled quality and presentation.

The new Caf Bar Brasserie offers a unique blend of up-to-the-minute menus and an amazing array of worldwide bottled beers. It also has a unique feature the Revolving Bar!

Crewe Hall is a superb setting for your conferences with 17 different conference rooms catering from 2 to 350, many with lavish period features and video conferencing. The Halls interior is exquisite; there is magnificent panelling, marble fireplaces, intricate carvings, ornate plasterwork, stained glass, antique furniture and furnishings and a staircase regarded as one of the finest specimens of Elizabethan architecture. The various, excellently equipped meeting rooms are equally impressive. The largest are the Long Gallery, used in Jacobean times for games, dancing and exercising and the Drawing Room with strapwork ceiling and chimneypiece of marble, jasper and onyx.

One of the loveliest rooms with a theatre style capacity of 85 and dining for 50 is the Great Library. It has a huge collection of books, ornate pendant ceiling and a frieze containing stained glass panels of Charles I, Elizabeth I and James I.

Crewe Hall offers corporate entertainment and team building on site, manned by our own experienced, enthusiastic personnel and tailored to suit your individual needs.
