About Crathorne Hall:
(ref: HP4)
Venue description:
This magnificent Edwardian stately home is set in the heart of North Yorkshire and is one of Yorkshire.s finest examples of Edwardian architecture and design.
The grand mahogany panelling, the ornate carved stone fireplaces, large windows that look out onto the immaculate lawns and gardens, the sumptuous sofas and the general air of understated opulence, all radiate the warmth and affection the generations that lived here have put into this house.
Far from being intimidated by the grandeur, you will soon feel like a guest in an old friend.s home. A feeling that.s fuelled by the genuine and warm hospitality you receive when you arrive.
For the second year in a row Crathorne Hall has been recognised as one of the top 200 hotels in the country and has been awarded four red stars for exceptional quality and service.
Venue location:
As you meander down the drive, past the meadows and through the oak trees, you will arrive at one of Yorkshire.s grandest country houses. Built and owned by the Dugdale family until 1977 this is a house that has played host to lords, queens and diplomats over the years including HRH The Queen Mother, Sir Winston Churchill and Macmillan. It has always been a place where people came to enjoy themselves to the full, a tradition that still remains today.
If you.re looking for a conference venue with charm as well as a full suite of business facilities Crathorne Hall is ideal. Situated in the heart of North Yorkshire, it was originally a country home built for pleasure, with genuine warm hospitality. Whether you want to get down to business away from the office or get away from the hustle and bustle to relax, the Hall is one of Yorkshires best examples of Edwardian Architecture. Though one equipped with the latest conference facilities including 41 inch plasma screens.
