Tankersley Manor was acquired by Marston Hotels in April 2001,and provides a superb hotel conveniently situated just 1 minute from junction 36 off the M1. The first hotel elements were built around an old farm complex which now houses reception, the restaurant, a bar and lounge, the traditional pub and a number of conference rooms, plus 40 bedrooms. The conference complex is connected to the hotel and contains the Tankersley Suite and adjacent conference rooms together with 30 bedrooms.
Venue location:
From North A1 junction 44 exit onto the M1 (signposted London, Leeds). Leave the M1 at junction 36 and follow signs for the A61 Sheffield. Tankersley Manor is half a mile on the left. From South M1 North Leave the M1 at junction 36 and follow signs for the A61 Sheffield. Tankersley Manor is half a mile on the left. From East M18 Then join the M1 North towards Sheffield/leeds. Leave the M1 at junction 36 and follow signs for A61 Sheffield. Tankersley Manor is half a mile on the left. From West M62 Leave the motorway at junction 29 which becomes junction 42 of the M1. Leave the M1 at junction 36 and follow signs for A61 Sheffield. Tankersley Manor is half a mile on the left.
Conference facilities:
There are 11 main conference, boardroom & syndicate rooms.
The largest accommodating up to 400 guests. Most rooms have telephone lines,
blackout and natural daylight, and all the staff are dedicated to your
conference needs. After a day in the conference room, your delegates can relax
in the lounge and bar areas including 'The Onward Arms' our very own country pub
complete with low beams, stone fireplaces, intimate seating areas and a
conservatory leading onto a patio. Corporate entertainment and team building are
