History is everywhere, its heavy oak door opens onto worn flagstones, beams and roaring fires. The stone walls with woven tapestries, antique furniture and pictures, some of it as old as the hotel, make The Bay Tree unique.

Venue location:
Burford is often referred to as "The Gateway to the Cotswolds". It is an attractive town with a steep main street leading down to the River Side Windrush, lined with antique shops.
Directions:
From junction 8 of the M40 to Burford. From Junction 11 of the M5 follow the A40. From Junction 15 of the M4 follow the A419 and then the A361 to Burford. From the High Street turn into Sheep Street next to the old Market Square. Conference facilities - Built as Elizabeth I's chancellor's country house, The Bay Tree Hotel is still being used for business today. The Conservatory opens onto walled gardens and is an inspired conference venue for up to 40 delegates. The Hawthorne room with its original open fireplace and ancient oak table is an excellent room for boardroom meetings.
