relaxing Swallow Newcastle Gateshead Hotel. The celebrated bridges over the Tyne, including the new Gateshead Millennium

banquets. The Ravensworth Suite can accommodate 350 delegates for a
theatre-style presentation while the Bewick Suite can hold 150 delegates. Both
have large reception areas and function bars for a less formal setting prior to
your event.
The Ravensworth Suite
This room can accommodate up to 350 guests. The room is air-conditioned and has
adaptable lighting, whether it is for an intimated dinner or large seminar. The
room has a built-in PA system and extended ceiling height for back projection,
natural lighting and black-out facilities if necessary. The Ravensworth Suite
has its own reception area with a bar which provides a more informal setting
prior to your event. The Suite can be divided into three separate sound-proofed
function rooms, the Lambton, the Penshaw and the Shipley. The suite also has a
large dance floor.
The Bewick Suite
The Bewick Suite is ideal for conferences, presentations, exhibitions, private
dining and banquets. Situated on the ground floor of the hotel, the suite has a
superb reception with separate seating and a bar area which provides extra
privacy for dinner dances and a good registration point for delegates. The Suite
has a main street entrance, so the loading and unloading of displays or
equipment is made easy.

There are four rooms within the Mezzanine Suite which are suitable for
interviewing or private meetings, accommodating up to 12 delegates.

The Boardroom accommodates up to 12 delegates and has plenty of natural daylight
or can also be blacked out for slide or video presentations.
