A1(M) to Newcastle upon Tyne to A1 after Washington Services. Follow signs for Newcastle Airport, passing the Metro Centre. Keep following signs to A696. Follow the dual carriageway (A696), turning right at the next roundabout to the airport. The hotel is on the left.

By Rail

A direct link is provided by the Newcastle Metro System, which will connect you from the central station to the airport terminal, where courtesy transport is provided to transfer you to the hotel. Alternatively, you could take a short walk (300 yards).

The Britannia Hotel has nine meeting rooms, which are highly flexible and suitable for a wide range of events and exhibitions. The most spacious of these accommodates 400 delegates theatre style or 250 for a dinner dance. At the other end of the scale , the Tyne and Coquet rooms are best suited for the smaller meeting accommodating up to six delegates. All conference rooms are easily accessible for all delegates and especially for disabled guests. Our on site car park offers space for up to 400 cars.

The hotel is ideally situated on the A696, with the A1 north and South only 5 minutes drive away, as is the A69 which links with the M6.
