Venue descripton: The Holiday Inn Kings Cross/Bloomsbury is perfectly situated between the City
and the West End. Kings Cross and St Pancras mainline, Farringdon and Russell
Square Underground Stations are within easy access. The Hotel is located near
the famous Bloomsbury district; Oxford Street, Covent Garden, The British
Museum, St Paul's Cathedral and Sadlers Wells Theatre are just a few attractions
within approximately one mile of the hotel. The hotel has 405 newly refurbished and elegantly appointed air conditioned
bedrooms, executive rooms, and suites each offering remote control T.V. and
inroom/pay movies, direct dial telephone, hairdryer, trouser press, tea and
coffee making facilities and mini bar.
Venue location:
BY UNDERGROUND You are about a 10 minute walk from Russell Square and Kings Cross
underground stations. Kings Cross: Turn left out of the Hotel, follow Kings Cross Road until it
takes you to Kings Cross Station. Russell Square: Turn right out of the Hotel and right at the back of the
hotel taking you into Calthorpe Street. Follow the street until it continues
onto Guilford Street, carry on walking at the end of the street into Russell
Square. Turn right and take the first right, the station is in front of you. BY BUS It is possible to take the 19 or 38 bus to either Piccadilly Circus or
Victoria. The number 63 will take you to Kings Cross Station. BY ROAD A40 - leads onto Marylebone Road, then continue onto Euston Road, go past
Kings Cross station and turn right onto Kings Cross road. Follow it round until
you see the Hotel on the right side of the road. M1 - leads onto the A1 which then goes onto Edgware Road, follow down until
you see Marylebone road on the right. Follow directions as for A40. A4 (from Heathrow) Follow signs for London West End and join onto A40 at
Hanger Lane then follow directions as for A40. A23 (from Gatwick) Follow signs for Central London, City. You will go through
Croydon, Norbury, Brixton and see signs for Elephant & Castle. From here
follow the signs for Blackfriars Bridge which you should cross and continue
along Farringdon Road, past the Post Office at which point you should see the
hotel in front on the left side of the road.
