The Celtic Manor Resort is perfectly situated for visiting Cardiff, the capital of Wales. After a day of business or pleasure in central Cardiff, guests can come back to the resort for a round of golf, a swim in the pool, and a relaxing massage. Also, with Cardiff Millenium Stadium playing host to many top professional and international sporting events, Celtic Manor makes an ideal base for fans to unwind after the big game.

Delegates arrive at the Convention Centre by separate driveway to a dedicated entrance and reception from which there is easy access by escalator and elevator to the main hotel level. The Centre has an organisers' office and a business centre, providing copying, fax, secretarial services, workstation and e-mail/internet access.

In addition to the Convention Centre suites, the Golf Clubhouse has a wide range of function rooms, including the Augusta Suite (400 theatre style) and the Via Julia Suite (150). The Manor Suite (120) is another option and is located at the resort's 19th century Manor House.

The Caernarfon Suite

The Caernarfon Suite, seating up to 1500 theatre style and 770 for banquets, offers accessibility, quality and the latest facilities backed by a professional support team.

The Caernarfon Suite features retractable chandeliers, table pin spots, Hi-tech PA and audio/visual, theatre style lighting, vehicular access, telecommunications, data/ISDN and trunking.

Two adjoining pre-function areas provide space for delegate registration, receptions or exhibitions, while 24 syndicate/meeting rooms range in size from seating ten (boardroom) to 170 (theatre style), each named after a Welsh castle.

Smaller Conference Rooms

For smaller conferences, the Convention Centre offers the Beaumaris (170 theatre style), the Denbigh (150) and the Conwy (150). All the suites have comprehensive technical facilities.

Other Suites Around the Resort

As well as the Convention Centre suites, the resort has several other large function rooms - a total of 40 across the resort - that are ideal for a wide range of events, from meetings and conferences to banquets and corporate golf days. Our facilities allow us to provide a venue to suit every occasion. The Augusta Suite (The Golf Clubhouse)

This suite is situated on the first floor of the Golf Clubhouse, with its own bar and reception lounge and views across the golf courses to Wentwood forest. It can accommodate up to 400 people theatre style and up to 340 for banquets. The room may also be subdivided for smaller events. The Golf Clubhouse has separate access and ample parking, making it a convenient choice for all types of corporate and private functions.

The Via Julia Suite (The Golf Clubhouse)

Another Clubhouse option, the Via Julia is beautifully appointed and has spectacular views across the Roman Road course to the Severn Estuary. Accommodating up to 150 theatre style and 120 for banquets, this suite has its own bar and panoramic French windows leading onto a large patio. A great option for golf days, wedding receptions and evening social functions.

Chairman & Newport Suites (The Manor House)

These suites have been designed with the needs and comfort of delegates carefully considered. The private bathrooms, individual lounges, airconditioning and full length windows provide comfort and light, allowing you to concentrate without distraction. A maximum capacity of 28 pax theatre style.

Lantern Suite (The Manor House)

A quiet and serene setting for small meetings. Full length windows onto its own private terrace provide a light and airy atmosphere, whilst air conditioning, bathroom and lounge add to the luxury of theis self contained meeting room. A maximum capacity of 15 pax theatre style.

The Manor Suite (The Manor House)

The Manor Suite is a perfect for weddings, banquets and smaller conferences. It has a private entrance, reception area and bar, and there is extensive parking nearby. Accommodating up to 120 guests for banquets, this suite has a character in keeping with the style of a fine country house hotel. A total of 300 guests can be catered for theatre style.
