meeting rooms and a large banqueting suite taking up to 800. The hotel has
recently completed a further phase of refurbishment with 111 superior bedrooms
having been upgraded, providing everything the discerning business or leisure
guest will require. The hotel is situated in the heart of the city centre with
easy access to theatres, cinemas, art galleries, monuments, museums and shopping
centres, especially the newly opened Buchanan Galleries. Glasgow is the 1999 UK
City of Architecture and Design with many venues open to the public which would
otherwise not be accessible. Previously in 1990 Glasgow was the European
Cultural Capital of Europe and is a city well worth exploring. The hotel is 2
minutes from the M8 motorway, however it is also only a short car journey away
from some of Scotland's finest scenery - Loch Lomond and the Trossachs, for
example, which are less than an hour's drive away.

Rail: Glasgow Central ? mile. Air: Glasgow Airport 7 miles. Road: From South
leave the M8 at Junction 19. At the traffic lights turn left onto Argyle Street
and turn left at the first set of traffic lights onto Douglas Street. At the
cross-junction turn left onto the one way system. Stay in the right lane. Follow
the one way system round to the right and the Hotel is on your right.
