The Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh has a unique
blend of modern and historic rooms providing the perfect surroundings for your
conference, meeting or event. Part of the College dates back to the 1770s and
was designed by Robert Adam.
The Victorian Great Hall and galleried New Library are particularly suitable for
dinners and receptions, while our Georgian Cullen Suite is ideal for business
dinners and meetings.
Location:
The Royal College of Physicians is located within a few
minutes walk of the main train and bus stations, hotels and main shopping areas.
It is within easy reach by road. Parking is available on street (metered) or at
the NCP multi-storey car park, 7 minutes walk from the college. Edinburgh
airport is approximately 7 miles from the city centre.
Conference facilities:
Our modern Conference Centre seats up to 300 people and is complemented by breakout rooms seating from 10 to 180 people. In the area surrounding the Conference Centre, there is exhibition space and a refreshment area where delegates can take a break or have informal meetings. We also have a fully equipped video conferencing room. We have an 10 internet ready PCs for use by delegates and for those who want to relax we have a small physic garden. Catering can be provided by one of our approved caterers.
