Overview

Clontarf Castle Hotel is located in Dublin on Ireland's eastern seaboard. The Hotel is two miles from the city centre and just five miles from Dublin Airport.

>From Dublin Airport:

Take the M1 towards the city centre. At the first set of traffic lights turn left onto Collins Avenue. Continue to the end of the road to a T-junction where it intersects with the Howth Road. Bear left (The Beachcomer Pub is facing you). At the second set of traffic lights take a sharp right onto Castle Avenue. The entrance to Clontarf Castle Hotel is at the first roundabout on the right hand side.

>From Dublin City Centre: (St. Stephens Green)

Drive down Dawson Street and turn right onto Nassau Street. Keep left and follow the road around onto Westland Row and at the bottom of the street, turn left onto Pearse Street. Take the next right and drive over Matt Talbot Bridge and past the Irish Financial Services Centre on your right hand side. Continue down Amiens Street and through Fairview (approx. 1.5 miles) and under the DART bridge at Clontarf. Turn left onto Castle Avenue when you see the signs for Clontarf Castle Hotel and follow the road up to the castle roundabout.

>From Dublin Ferry Port:

Leaving Dublin Ferry Port, continue to the traffic lights and turn right onto East Wall Road. Turn right at the second set of traffic lights onto Alfie Byrne Road. Turn right at the T-junction onto Clontarf Road. Continue for half a mile. Turn left at the second set of traffic lights onto Castle Avenue. The entrance to Clontarf Castle Hotel is on the left at the next roundabout.

Dublin Area Rapid Tranist (DART)

Clontarf Castle Hotel is also conveniently located close to the DART station at Clontarf Road.

As befits its title, this truly is a great venue. Magnificently finished in a rich dicor and with a capacity for 500 conference delegates or 400 banquet guests, the Great Hall is now regarded as one of the citys finest conference and banqueting venues.

Carefully designed to maximise natural light, the venue offers a complete black-out facility, together with the most sophisticated audio visual technology and individualised air-conditioning.

The Great Hall has its own foyer, which is suitable for a drinks reception, conference registration or refreshments.
