Missenden Abbey is a combination of historic charm and purpose-built training facilities. The 12th century Abbey is set in 12 acres of parkland in the Chiltern Hills yet within easy access of several motorways, rail and tube stations. Great Missenden's charming village is on the doorstep offering antique, craft, bookshops and several hostelries.
Important features are the first class technical equipment and facilities we offer, all of which are supported by our on-site technicians. We provide a focused environment which enables trainers to maximise the effectiveness of their seminars, workshops and meetings. Our flexible combination of rooms and professional staff ensure that all your requirements are met. Our Client Liaison team are always on hand to help ensure that your time with us is successful.
The Abbey's suite of Garden Room, Library and Bar has a relaxed ambience. Our Garden Room leads out onto attractive flagstone terracing which in turn opens out onto beautiful lawns and gardens running towards the River Misbourne. In the dining rooms which seat 100, we provide delicious and imaginative food and can meet any special dietary requirement. We offer a range of options and menus for private dining functions. Our 57 en-suite bedrooms are quietly situated overlooking an ornamental pool and many are being refurbished this year. We also have outdoor equipment which can be used by our guests for teambuilding and leadership events either with one of our trainers or independently by companies.
We also offer facilities for Wedding Receptions and Ceremonies for up to 100 guests for a formal silver served wedding breakfast or a buffet style meal. Extra guests can be invited for the evening making a total of 150 and music can be arranged. We offer a Wedding Co-ordinator to ensure that the entire wedding celebration is a memorable one.
The Centre's leisure facilities include squash court, mini gym, sauna, pitch-and-putt, croquet, volley ball. In addition, the surrounding Chilterns countryside is a delight with an abundance of country walks.

Directions:
Close to M40, M25, M1 and M4. Forty minutes by car from central London. Mainline train Marylebone - Great Missenden (approximately 40 minutes) or Underground - Metropolitan line from Baker Street to Amersham (35 minutes) and then either taxi from Amersham (10 minutes) or main line at Amersham to Great Missenden.
