Enjoy the tranquillity of this old Inn facing the Horseshoe bend of the River Wye situated in the centre of Ross and commanding excellent views. The hotel is well placed for the Wye Valley, Forest of Dean and the Brecon Beacons and is located at the end of the M50 motorway which lads to the M5 and is only a 20 minute drive from the M4 motorway. Both Birmingham and Cardiff airports are an hour away by car.

Directions:
From the M5. Come off at J8 onto the M50. Follow M50 to end of motorway & approach a large roundabout. Take 1st exit. Continue on dual carriageway until another roundabout. On your right is Ross Country Store & Animal Market, go straight over until a smaller roundabout, turn left here by Esso Garage. Over the bridge, follow road round & you will notice a slip road on the right which leads directly to the Royal Hotel. Carry on and turn right into hotel car park.

From the M4. Follow signs to M50, which is signposted, all the way until you reach a small roundabout. Turn right at Esso Garage on the right and a hotel on the left. Over the bridge, follow road round & you will notice a slip road on the right which leads directly to the Royal Hotel. Carry on and turn right into hotel car park.
