Less than a mile from the city centre and 15 minutes drive from Inverness Airport, The Inverness Thistle is situated just off the Raigmore exit on the A9. Free car parking is available for 150 cars. This recently refurbished modern hotel offers a typically warm Scottish welcome. Each of the 118 well appointed bedrooms has an en-suite bathroom, television with Sky TV, telephone, radio, tea and coffee making facilities. The 48 Executive rooms have in addition trouser press, hair dryer and ironing centre. The Laird's Restaurant, where guests choose from a range of appealing dishes, offers fine cuisine with many Scottish specialities. For relaxation and somewhere to meet colleagues whilst attending a meeting the Lounge Bar offers the ideal setting. The Inverness Thistle has earned an enviable reputation locally for the quality of its conference and banqueting facilities. The main purpose built Raigmore Suite may be used in its entirety for presentations for up to 230 delegates and private lunches and dinners for 210 guests. Alternatively, it can be sub-divided into three separate rooms, the Millburn, Drummond and Culcabock seating up to 120, 70 and 40 respectively. Two smaller rooms are also available on the first and third floors seating up to 15 people theatre style or eight boardroom style. These rooms can be used for syndicate work in conjunction with larger meetings in one of the main rooms. The hotel can also provide on request a range of business services including photocopying, facsimile and secretarial services. The Hotel has a RAC award for comfort and AA Rosette for its cuisine.
