On the shore of Lake Windermere is a country house within its own estate called 'The Samling' unlike a hotel, The Samling is a hideaway completely yours for however long you need complete indulgence. We also offer complete privacy and a perfect setting to do important business and unwind. A confidential meeting of the board, a weekend as a reward for your groups hard work, a small conference. The Samling is well suited for all of them (the conference centre in The Old Stables seats 14 in comfort, it is equipped with all communications tools that a forward-looking company expects) syndicate rooms are also available. A few yards away the Dutch Barn Theatre can seat 60 delegates. The Samling is a house in the country and not a country house hotel. But forget snooty overtones, this very private house with its 10 suites is relaxed, comfortable and informal. The place becomes your own as you enter it-with an atmosphere that makes movie stars, managing directors or anyone fell completely at ease.
