Description:
Sadler's Wells Theatre is a revolution in theatre design, providing event organisers with a highly modern and flexible auditorium in which to hold products launches, AGM's, press conferences or award ceremonies, fashion shows and gala dinner events. The theatre can seat 1500 people at full capacity. For events with a smaller capacity the 2nd circle can be hidden from view reducing the seating to 1000 and with the 1st circle hidden the capacity can be further reduced to make the theatre ideal for use for events with a capacity between 300 to 500.
In house is a wealth of experienced and dedicated event and technical teams, which enable any event organiser to stage a professional and original production.
The Lillian Bayliss Theatre, provides production companies and event organisers with a modern meeting environment whilst maintaining a unique theatre ambience. It holds 200 seated theatre styled in ranked seating, which can be retracted for cabaret-style meetings, workshope or dinner dances,. It is also perfect for smaller theatrical and dance events.
The galleried front of house levels, flooded with natural light by day, provide a unique area for creating events with impact. The first level, the mezzanine, is a popular and versatile area comprising the Fonteyn Room, the Falk room and the Cable and Wireless room, seating 30, 20 and 120 in theatre style respectively,. The Falk and the Cable and Wireless room both have the unique feature of removable acoustic walls which allow the rooms to be opened out to create an ideal space for corporate entertaining for parties of 150 seated or 300 standing. Two further levels, the first and second circles, both have the capacity for 70 seated and 150 standing. Alllevels can be used together for larger events.
The Kahn Lecture theatre, the smallest of the three theatres within the complex has seating for 75 and is perfect for more informal style conferences and events.
In close proximity to the Lilian Baylis and Kahn theatres are four rooms which provide excellent areas for meetings or breakout areas.
The complex also contains three rehearsal studios, each is sound proofed with a fully sprung dance floor and natural daylight offering even more possibilities as breakout or workshop rooms. For rehearsals all studios are available for hire on a five, six or saven day basis.
Sadler's Wells prides itself on its accessibility for people with physical, sensory and cognitive disabilities, whether visitors, staff or performers, having many special features including designated wheelchair spaces, wheelchair friendly ramps, braille signage, induction loops, flat access from the pavement, disabled parking spaces and adapted toilet facilities.
